Benefits

Group medical insurance
Group medical insurance plans are available for eligible employees, spouses and their children. Tech-Pro offers a choice of either a co-pay or deductible plan. Employee costs depends on plan type and coverage of spouse and dependents. Premiums are paid for through pre-tax payroll deduction. If you enroll in Tech-Pros group medical insurance, you will also be able to take advantage of Outlook Vision Services a discount program for contacts and glasses at participating providers.

Group dental insurance
Group dental insurance is available for eligible employees, spouses and children. The portion paid by the employee depends on coverage of spouse and children, and is paid for through pre-tax payroll deductions.

Flexible benefits account (FBA)
A flexible benefits account allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars from their paycheck. The money in the FBA account is used to reimburse the employee for dependent- and health-care expenses not covered by medical insurance.

Short- and long-term disability
Short- and long-term disability is provided to all full-time employees at no employee cost. The short-term disability plan provides for 60% of an employees payup to $750 per week, for up to 13 weeks. Long-term disability provides for 50% of an employees payup to $5,000 per month, after an employee has been disabled for 90 days.

Life insurance/accidental death and dismemberment
Life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage of $50,000 is provided to all full-time employees at no employee cost. Additional life insurance coverage for eligible employees, spouses, and their children is available in increments of $10,000 at a low monthly rate. This additional coverage guarantees an employee can purchase at least $125,000, and, if eligible, up to a maximum of $500,000.

Paid time off
As a way to give our employees more flexibility and control in using their paid time off, Tech-Pro offers a combined pool concept: PTO. The objective of PTO is to allow employees complete access to their paid time off without deference to the reasons they are taking it. So if time is needed for a doctors appointment, training, illness, holiday time, a childs school conference, or just for funemployees use their PTO days!

401(k) & Section 529 plan
All employees are eligible to participate in Tech-Pros 401(k) plan upon starting full-time employment. Tech-Pros fund provides 16 selections. Employees may invest up to the maximum dollar amount determined by the IRS. Fifty percent of an employees first 4% of investment contributions is matched by Tech-Pro. Eligible Tech-Pro employees are issued a personal identification number, which can be used to modify investments and monitor fund performance, either online or over the phone via a toll-free number.

In addition, Tech-Pro offers the Section 529 college savings program. This benefit allows you the opportunity to enroll in the CollegeBoundfund to set aside money for higher education expenses through payroll deduction.

Education Assistance Program
Tech-Pros primary assets are our employees. Tech-Pro encourages its employees to expand and enhance their skills for the benefit of both the employee and the company. As a part of Tech-Pros commitment to employee education, the company provides assistance to full-time employees under the Education Assistance Program. Eligible employees may receive tuition reimbursement and/or assistance with the cost of obtaining technical certifications.

Ability Assist employee assistance program
Ability Assist is a support services program available to all full-time Tech-Pro employees at no cost. This program is voluntary and strictly confidential. Ability Assist helps employees and their family members more effectively deal with their concerns both in and out of the workplace.

Mass Transit & Parking Plan
Tech-Pro offers a mass transit and parking plan to all full-time employees who use bus transit for their trip to work or pay for parking while at work. This program allows employees who participate to set aside pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction, subject to IRS limits, into an individual transit account and be reimbursed from funds in the account for qualified bus transit and parking expenses.

Employee discounts
Tech-Pro is a member of the Minnesota Employee Recreation & Services Council (www.mersc.org). MERSC offers discounts on a variety of services, such as auto sales and maintenance, books, family recreation, flowers, restaurants and theaters, to name a few. Tech-Pro has partnered with Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, US Bank and Wells Fargo to offer convenient banking plans and products for our employees. Please contact our office or each respective financial institution for more information.

Communication programs

Field managers
Tech-Pro assigns as field managers consultants who have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven track record with Tech-Pro. Field managers use non-billable time to meet regularly with other onsite Tech-Pro consultants to offer career development advice as well as act as a liaison for HR issues between the Tech-Pro home office and the consultants.

Intranet and knowledge exchange
Our consultants have access to our intranet - specifically to employee information, news, events and our knowledge areas and knowledge exchange. Our knowledge exchange gives consultants access to all Tech-Pro consultants and their array of skills and experiences. In addition, we offer our Tech-Pro internal library as a service to our consultants.

Employee events
Tech-Pro encourages a family atmosphere through group activities such as consultant awards dinners, pizza parties, tailgate parties and holiday gatherings.

Consultant recognition

2000-Hour Club
Tech-Pro rewards consultants who bill in excess of 2,000 hours each calendar year.

Circle of Excellence and Presidents Club
Each quarter, Tech-Pro nominates employees whose accomplishments exceed our expectations, or those of our clients. Nomination to the Circle of Excellence qualifies you for the Presidents Club. Each year, a Circle of Excellence nominee for each quarter is elevated to the Presidents Club. Presidents Club awardees win a trip for two with our president and other Presidents Club winners.
