Group medical insurance Group medical insurance plans are available for eligible employees, spouses and their children. Tech-Pro offers a choice of either a co-pay or deductible plan. Employee costs depends on plan type and coverage of spouse and dependents. Premiums are paid for through pre-tax payroll deduction. If you enroll in Tech-Pros group medical insurance, you will also be able to take advantage of Outlook Vision Services a discount program for contacts and glasses at participating providers. Group dental insurance Group dental insurance is available for eligible employees, spouses and children. The portion paid by the employee depends on coverage of spouse and children, and is paid for through pre-tax payroll deductions. Flexible benefits account (FBA) A flexible benefits account allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars from their paycheck. The money in the FBA account is used to reimburse the employee for dependent- and health-care expenses not covered by medical insurance. Short- and long-term disability Short- and long-term disability is provided to all full-time employees at no employee cost. The short-term disability plan provides for 60% of an employees payup to $750 per week, for up to 13 weeks. Long-term disability provides for 50% of an employees payup to $5,000 per month, after an employee has been disabled for 90 days. Life insurance/accidental death and dismemberment Life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage of $50,000 is provided to all full-time employees at no employee cost. Additional life insurance coverage for eligible employees, spouses, and their children is available in increments of $10,000 at a low monthly rate. This additional coverage guarantees an employee can purchase at least $125,000, and, if eligible, up to a maximum of $500,000. Paid time off As a way to give our employees more flexibility and control in using their paid time off, Tech-Pro offers a combined pool concept: PTO. The objective of PTO is to allow employees complete access to their paid time off without deference to the reasons they are taking it. So if time is needed for a doctors appointment, training, illness, holiday time, a childs school conference, or just for funemployees use their PTO days! 401(k) & Section 529 plan All employees are eligible to participate in Tech-Pros 401(k) plan upon starting full-time employment. Tech-Pros fund provides 16 selections. Employees may invest up to the maximum dollar amount determined by the IRS. Fifty percent of an employees first 4% of investment contributions is matched by Tech-Pro. Eligible Tech-Pro employees are issued a personal identification number, which can be used to modify investments and monitor fund performance, either online or over the phone via a toll-free number. In addition, Tech-Pro offers the Section 529 college savings program. This benefit allows you the opportunity to enroll in the CollegeBoundfund to set aside money for higher education expenses through payroll deduction.
