CHALLENGE
Outsource the maintenance of aging Enterprise Systems Integration (ESI) applications. Outsourcing included the maintenance of old applications, the creation of new applications as needed, and the documentation of the old applications for conversion to new technology. The old ESI system was going to be retired and replaced in two years.
SOLUTION
Tech-Pro recruited and staffed a team of ESI professionals to perform the maintenance. Tech-Pro's project manager directed the team and was the liaison between our client and the outsource team. All maintenance was conducted off site at Tech-Pros development center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
RESULT
The maintenance was transferred to the outsource team without issues. The business experienced no affect on its day to day operations. The client expressed their satisfaction with our team and has continued to renew the engagement. New technology is being implemented and deployed slowly replacing the applications we are supporting. The new technology will eventually replace the old and the engagement will be completed.
